Survivor : South Pacific Finale Predictions

My favorite (favorite, favorite) show is ending another season today and I have many predictions for tonight. By the way I'm so sorry that I haven't blogged in over a month I should blog more often!

I need to do a recap of Wednesday's episode to catch anyone who hasn't watched the season up. Ozzy's on Redemption Island, Albert scrambled to get Sophie out, Albert and Rick (you didn't know Rick was on Survivor, ha neither did I) had a bit of a blowout, Sophie wanted to get Brandon out, Coach agreed with her, Brandon won immunity, Sophie and Coach didn't know what to do, Brandon thought about giving immunity to his 'best friend' Albert because he thought that was the right thing to do, he did thinking Coach would vote out Sophie, he didn't, Brandon was voted out and is now on Redemption Island with Ozzy.

My predictions :
Redemption Island - Ozzy and Brandon have to duel out and one of them goes back into the game with Coach, Sophie, Albert, and Rick. The other is another jury member and is out of the game for good. I think that Brandon will lose and then talk about how he really played the game with honor and integrity (yeah...right) and that this game is evil. (Yes, Brandon it is Survivor) Then Ozzy will go back into the game and continue that stupid alliance with Coach, who already promised Albert to the end, Sophie to the end, and did he promise Rick to the end? I don't remember.

Final Four (with Ozzy) - Ozzy won't scramble because he barley knows these people and will go on to win immunity. Albert will want Sophie out, Rick will probably be voted out and not understand why. Rick will vote Albert, Sophie will vote Rick, Coach = Rick, and Albert = Rick

Final Three (with Ozzy) - Now Ozzy will most likely scramble and then Sophie will win the immunity challenge. Sophie, Albert, and Coach go to the final three and Sophie or Coach wins.

Here is what I think will happen with each person :
Brandon - Eliminated at Redemption Island; Cries (again); Goes to the jury and if Coach, Albert, and Sophie end up at the end, Brandon votes for Coach even though Coach was the one who voted him out.

Rick - If he wins, I'll cry because he has done NOTHING, but if Brandon ends up winning, I will cry harder.

Ozzy - If Ozzy goes to the end, which he might, he wins. Jim, Keith, Dawn, Whitney, and Cochran easily vote him. Enda, probably will too and so will Rick. Does Ozzy deserve to win? No. Why? Because sure he beat almost every person that came to Redemption Island (through his 'Pleasure Dome' - Sophie), but has say we didn't have Redemption Island Ozzy would've been out and the second jury member. Redemption Island saved him, but the game is about surviving Survivor itself not surviving on Redemption Island (and if you're Ozzy with fish and all that good stuff) and surviving a duel every three days, but Redemption Island is like Ozzy's vacation (besides that he can't shower or have any food besides the fish he catches). So I think that Ozzy has a chance at winning, but doesn't deserve it, at least not to me. Ozzy would vote for Coach probably to win the million if he doesn't go to the final three.

Albert - I think that Albert might go to the final three and if he does, he loses. Nobody votes for Albert. He's done nothing at all.

Coach - Coach has one of the best chances at winning because he has led Albert, Sophie, Rick, Brandon, and Enda to beat out the Savaii tribe. Does Coach deserve to win? No. Why? Because he's Coach. He's done nothing. The only immunity challenge he won was won that required no strength and no mental ability. So you could say that Coach has been laid back, he has, but that DOES NOT deserve to win, at all. Sorry Coach. If Coach gets voted out, he votes for Rick. Nobody knows why.

Sophie - Sophie can win. Does Sophie deserve to win? YES! Why? Because although she's been quiet she's been smart and everyone (besides Albert) kind of has made friends with Sophie, which is smart. I think that Sophie should win and if she makes it to the end, will win. If she doesn't she votes for Ozzy because Coach, Albert, Rick, and Brandon are stupid.

Final Three Possibilities - Coach, Rick, Albert; Sophie, Coach, Ozzy; Albert, Coach, Sophie; Ozzy, Coach, Rick; Brandon, Coach, Albert; Sophie, Albert, Ozzy; Rick, Albert, Sophie; Coach, Ozzy, Albert;

Who do you want to win?

Merry Christmas! I'll blog soon on the outcome!

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays,
Emily :)

Tigers, Lions, and the Rangers?

Over the past few months, I've been paying more attention to baseball. I learned to love the Detroit Tigers and was so excited to see them clinch the AL Central Division. I went to a bunch of games with my dad, almost a playoff game (but thanks to pneumonia, that didn't turn out so well.) It was so much fun and a great season. I only wish people could play baseball in the Winter too, but sadly they'd probably freeze.

The 2011 season could have been a FANTASTICAL season, if the Tigers had went on to win the World Series. I mean, it doesn't mean that they didn't have a great season, but they didn't win Game 6 of ALCS so Texas went on to win and in case you live in Michigan, are a Sports fan, and didn't see this game, you should know this so I wouldn't keep blabbing on about how dumb and pathetic that game was. (and Ranger fans, keep your mouths CLOSED)

Anyway, I figured since this Tiger playoff thing ended on such a bad note, we should pick up on the good things that game in this season, such as the second Justin Verlander No-Hitter in Toronto. Also the fact that we got Doug Fister (not David Pauly, puke). Now we finally have two GREAT starting pitchers and two ok-ish pitchers (Porcello, Scherzer) and then we can finally say bye-bye to Brad Penny (GOODBYE! FAREWELL! GO AWAY,NOW PLEASE!). Other than that, yes it would be a very great season.

The not-so good moments include losing a lot of players towards the end of the season. Victor Martinez, Magglio Ordonez, Alex Avila, and Delmon Young all suffered lots of injuries in the middle-towards end of the playoffs, this making the game harder to win for us. Dear Rangers, SHUT YOUR MOUTHS (please).

The Rangers were probably a better team in the end, but seriously your talking about a team that NEVER won a World Series, I mean the (Brewers, Rays, etc.) have never won World Series before either, but still this team beat our butts and shouldn't have because we're better than that, but when you have a ZILLION guys on the disabled list, yeah, we're not going to win every single game.

One thing is for sure though, we were AMAZING with our 12 or something game winning streak, I didn't see many other teams doing that. Not that they could, even the days when we weren't doing well, we came back. (see game v.s. White Sox 8-9 game, v.s. White Sox 6-5 game) This proved that we deserved to go to the Playoffs and even though we stank the last few games it's okay because there's always next year. Ranger, shut your mouths please.

This blog post title also mentions the Lions, who are 5-1. I'm not a football person, so you can't ask me about that, I'm so very sorry, but I'm more of a baseball person in case you couldn't tell.

A HUGE thanks to all of you who voted for my Aunt Sarah's blog! She won Detroit's Most Valuable Blogger! Thank you!!

And I'm so sorry that I haven't blogged in a while. I'll try to keep blogging, I get writer's block and then it's never good enough! Thank you for reading!

School and a Super Shorkie

Tiger the Super Shorkie
I've never had a pet. I mean, when I was six or seven I had fish, but  forgot to take care of them so we had to get rid of them. When I was four I had butterflies, but we had to let them go because you can't keep butterflies forever, which is sad, but true. I've had these little pets, but you can't really interact or play with these pets. I've always wanted a little puppy and that's what we got. :)

A few weeks ago we went to visit my Great-Grandparents, who we don't visit often, but should because I love my family. They have a cat named Eva, who was just hanging out and then a dog, who looks more like a puppy named Nellie. Nellie is a yorkie I think and is really cute and sweet. She cuddles up with you and loves to play. She especially loves my great-grandpa.

Ever since we saw Nellie, my brothers, mom, and I wanted a puppy even more than usual. We thought about how much fun having a dog would be and my mom had been on the computer a bunch just looking at the priceless faces of the adorable puppies. Puppies cost a lot of money and we wanted one that we could afford, with the plus of dog food and stuff, but it wasn't even certain we would even be getting a puppy.

On August Tuesday the 23rd, my mom, my brothers, and I went to go to the store like normal mornings. Then we went home and my dad got home early, like right after lunch so we ate lunch and my dad told us we were all in big trouble. Then he sat us all down on the couch and we sat there. Noah kept quietly whispering stuff like he knew something we didn't and Nick was laughing  hysterically. I had a feeling we weren't getting in trouble. Then my mom said we would be getting an addition to the family, and I knew it wasn't a baby, it was puppy! A baby puppy who was only seven weeks old at the time and was a shih tzu and yorkie mix which is called a shorkie.

We went to the pet store and then at five we finally went to go pick up the adorable little puppy. When we brought him home we couldn't exactly come up with a name for him. In fact, it took us three days to name him. We all had different ideas. I liked Tiger and Graham. Graham like Grandma and Graham Cracker. Everyone liked Graham except for Nick, and Nick liked Gizmo, which my dad didn't like. Noah liked every name you suggested. Drew wanted to name him Spongebob or Yo Gabba Gabba. My mom and dad liked Desmond, which I hated. Finally my dad made us vote from a list. There were three names tied : Gizmo, Sammy, and Tiger. Finally we sent them to my dad and he said to name him Tiger. So his name is Tiger.

He's a really good little puppy, who is now eight weeks old. He has accidents sometimes, but for the most part he is very good. I love to play with him and he is adorable so his face sometimes makes you want to cry he's so cute.

The other part of this entry says 'school'. I went to the middle school to go to get my ID and schedule and I did just that. That was really fun too, I don't have very many classes with my friends, but have them with some people I know, which is good. I can't believe I say this, but I am very happy that school is about to start! I can't wait, actually!
Oh! And I wanted to mention (once more) that you should be daily voting for my aunt Sarah's blog - if you haven't checked it out yet - click here to read it - and if you decide you think it's awesome - click here to vote

Vacation Time - Muskegon, West Michigan

Every year my family takes a vacation somewhere, last year it was Florida (amazing!) and the year before it was the Sliver Lake Sand Dunes (Very Sand-Duney). This year we took a week vacation to Muskegon, which is in West Michigan. It's a very big city because our cottage (which was WAY more like a house) was about twenty minutes away from everything.

Monday - Monday was the day of driving to Muskegon. I wasn't packed until the night before (we had a slow and busy week) so we tried packing everything in to our minivan, and of course it didn't all fit perfectly. My dad suggested taking to big van, but if you have six people in the big van for three hours and it's very hot out, then the van will not give you air conditioning, which stinks, but is true. So we crammed in the regular car and drove off.

Drew and Nick playing in the backyard
Once we arrived in Muskegon, we tried to find the house we were renting for the week. We passed by a restaurant, but it was torn down and ripped up looking called the 'Red Dragon BBQ'. Of course, this was weird, but we found our house around the corner of the restaurant and unpacked our bags from the car. The house had two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a garage, a sun room with fold our beds, and a campfire in the backyard.

Anyway, we were out after that for about an hour just looking for dinner and firewood. The man who owned the house said that  you could fine camp firewood at 'most gas stations', well we went to 'most gas stations' alright and turns out 'most gas stations' DON'T have firewood. We drove in circles forever, finally got some and got some pizza to go back to the house and eat. (by the way, the outskirts of Muskegon are a little bit scary, haha)

Tuesday - Tuesday was our beach day. By that I mean we found a beach about twenty minutes from the house (like everything else) and relaxed there all day. I took a book to read and so did my mom, while my brothers and dad played in the sand and made a really cool looking sad castle. (I wish I had a picture to show you) After they finished it, or took a break I don't know, they went to play on the playground. These two brats came up and started stepping through it and stealing out sand toys, so we made them stop and they went to go bother someone else and their sand toys and castle.

After a little while longer, we took a walk and put everything in the car and got some ice cream from the stand on the beach (I got cookie dough, Yum!). My dad really wanted to see this lighthouse so we started to walk on it. I was worried from the moment I read the very first sign that said 'Dangerous...blah...blah...blah'. I was scared. So it was no doubt we didn't make it to the lighthouse when we read yet another sign thanking those who gave their lives do to falling off the path to the lighthouse and blah, blah, blah. That was the end of that.

We went to the grocery store later to get some things my mom needed for dinner that night. The kids got some candy because we thought about going to the movies that night, but didn't because we decided to stay home and watch a movie instead.

Nick, Noah, Drew, and Emily
Wednesday - was my favorite day and probably the most exciting. First we went bowling and and that was SUPER fun. We divided into two teams. Nick, Noah, and Drew played together and Nick won both games on that team. My mom, my dad, and I played on the other team and my dad won both games because I'm not very good at bowling, sorry!

After eating lunch there and bowling we went home and took some naps for a few hours. My dad decided we should play UNO, so we went outside while Drew slept and played a game of UNO that lasted about two hours and didn't end up ever ending because we had to eat dinner and then leave to go to the Whitecaps Game. The Whitecaps are a single-a-baseball team. That's where some of the Tigers players come from after they go to the Mud hens, which is the triple-a-baseball team for the Tigers.
Us at the Whitecaps Game

We had dinner at home and bought these tickets that were on a lawn and it could either be by right field, or left field. We sat by left field and lots of foul balls came our way. Before the game, a guy from the other team, The Dragons, which I think were from Ohio, gave Nick a baseball. We hung on to it as a memory. We also got to make our own baseball cards and get something from the gift shop. Since, I didn't have any Tigers wear, I got a baseball hat, that was pink. We got little treats and then went back to watch the game.
Me at the Game

The Whitecaps ended up losing, but it was still very fun! We went home and everyone kind of fell right asleep we were so tired, especially since the stupid GPS took like an hour to get us home.

Thursday - was our last day of doing things since we would be leaving on Friday. We decided to spend this day at Michigan's Adventure, which I thought was called 'Michigan Adevnture', but I guess it's Michigan's. For those of you who don't know what Michigan's Adventure is, it's an amusement park and a water park. It's fun, but if you're short it's not very fun, haha.

We did some things for Drew, and then went on a paddle boat ride, which was a workout! And then we did a few more other things before deciding we should go back to the car and eat lunch. After that, we went and changed into our bathing suits (which were only under our real clothes) and went to the water park.

The water park rides weren't much different from regular rides in which your height had to be 48 tall or you couldn't ride. Meaning I was (barely) the only kid who could ride the rides that I didn't want to ride. I even cut my lip on one of the rides it was so fast. They also had pools you could go in and every few minutes they turned on the waves and that was really fun.

Before living we went to the gift shop, which was Peanut's Themed, and met the stuffed people Lucy, Snoopy, and Charlie Brown. Drew was so exciting to meet everyone it was so cute. "The Best Day Ever!" He said to us when he was meeting them. Which, it kind of was.

Thursday night we packed and watched a movie and had our final campfire and s'more's, which tasted funny because Daddy put his mints in the same bag as the marshmallows, which made them taste minty and funny. I didn't eat mine because of this, I think only Drew did, because he will eat anything.

Friday - was the day we went home. We packed and and then unpacked and it felt so good to finally be home again. I missed home so much. We spent the weekend at Breast Cancer Walk for my dad's cousin Tiffany and editing my video for Grimridge.

By the way - My Aunt Sarah has a blog crazy-random-happenstance-sarah.blogspot.com and it has been nominated for 'Detroit's Most Valuable Blogger' you need to vote for her's or at least read her blog! Voting goes through September 9th!

The Story of Saving Grimridge

On Saturday August 6th, my theater summer theater group, 'Shining Stars Theater', put on    a great performance of an original play called 'The Story of Saving Grimridge'. The play had a cast of kids that aged 8 - 12. It was a great play.

Shining Stars Theater

The play followed a little girl named Lily (Bethany Stoddart) and her journey after she meets a gypsy (Alyssa Griglio) after not believing in any 'Happily Ever After'. She soon finds herself in the kingdom of Grimridge, where she discovers that it has been taken over by Lady Minerva (Emily Proctor) and that Prince Dylan (Dominic Tomasi) is captured. Minerva and her bodyguards (Ali Kindred and Meghann Butchart) have taken over Grimridge to make it awful. After meeting some people like Glow the Firefly (Kennedy Klauza), Aqua the Mermaid (Riley Klauza), and Kayla the Elf (Arianna Sawyer) Lily decides to take down Lady Minerva and so she does making Grimridge happy again, with Lady Minerva good again.

The play took a lot of hard work, it all started when we all met on an overcast day in the park with about thirteen children. After what seemed like ten people quitting, crazy casting, and insane dancing in the hallway everything was find and it was official. We were Shining Stars Theater. If it was hard for a bunch of kids to go on stage you couldn't tell. We all had the talent and hard work pays off, there's no doubt about that.

Glow - "Like a Princess?"
To begin with, we had about twelve people in our theater group, each with their own special talent, after a few weeks of July went by we had someone call it a quits and we were left with a main role sitting alone. After everything was sorted out and that part was someone else's we had another quitter, who left us hanging. Because of this we had to take out a scene and give away yet two more parts to make this play work. It was amazing how this show actually got done, but it was amazing in every single way. I only wish so many people could love theater like I do, because it's just so fun. I would never actually want to be an actress that does real movies, but I will always have theater.

"They all lived Happily Ever After!"

The tracks for this play were super fun.  Starting and opening with Mrs. Cobblestone (Meghann Butchart), Granny (Riley Klauza), Betsy (Kennedy Klauza),  and Lily (Bethany Stoddart) singing "Happily Ever After" from 'Once Upon a Mattress' was super fun as Bethany sighed her way through the song angry at her family members. It showed you where the play began and it was a great beginning and ending with 'Imagine' by John Lennon was a great ending.

Happily Ever After, Do You Believe in Magic?, Under The Sea, R-E-S-P-E-C-T, Bad, When You're Alone, Fireflies, Breaking Free, Imagine, Firework. Shining Stars Theater is amazing. I hopefully being doing this again next year!

Go Shining Stars!

"The Boy Wizard!"

About fourteen years ago a book came out that changed everything. It was titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. A book that changed the world possibly. A book that made reading more fun, more amazing, more.....magical (pun indented). Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling made the world think of something different. I, one of those many people who was changed by the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I always wanted a letter from Hogwarts that told me I would be going there to learn wizardry. Sadly, that letter never came.

In 2007, in case you didn't do the math that's four years ago, the last book came out. It was titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part One.
out that changed everything. It was titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. A book that changed the world possibly. I, one of those many people who was changed by the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I always wanted a letter from Hogwarts that told me I would be going there to learn wizardry. Sadly, that letter never came.

In 2007, in case you didn't do the math that's four years ago, the last book came out. It was titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but all that didn't matter because the movies were still going on and on. That is until July 15th 2011, when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two was released.
****EXTREME SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!****

In 2001, Harry Potter's first movie was released when Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) goes off to Hogwarts, a school for wizards and meets some of the best friends of his life, Ronald Weasly (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson). Later in the series he realizes he most be the one to kill Lord You-Know-Who. The book series and movies are to be treasured forever and if anyone ever redoes them I will be so upset :(.

Harry Potter was first introduced to me by my friends, in which I borrowed the books from, I read them all and loved them all. I was so excited to just see the last movie and it was just the most fantastic movie ever.

The way they did this movie made me think about how great the series really is. I want this movie series and book series to go on and continue itself forever. The way they made everything look so very really real that I just loved it. The only things that bugged me were things that can forget about and talk about later, not now, though because it is just to amazing to talk about the made things that happened to the movie.

I'm very glad they split the movie into two parts. It made you really appreciate the whole entire book instead of just the little important bits and pieces. The final battle is amazing, in which Mrs. Weasly even says her famous quote, and even though it's sad, it's the way the book is supposed to be done and it makes it all the better. I loved this movie so much.

And so it is done. So the movies and books have come to an end. But we all know that J.K. Rowling is going to do something. The only thing is that all the actors (especially Daniel Radcliffe) are so amazing I can't imagine them starring in anything else. I love you, Harry Potter.

Life is the Bubbles!

Hello people who actually read my blog! :) Thank you so much if you do, I work really hard on it. I was thinking about also making a blog that had like celebrity news - I'm hesitate, I might, but this is MY blog, which means this is the blog all about me not about anyone else. If I make celebrity news it will have nothing to do with me, so I prefer you to check on this blog more than a celebrity news blog. Thanks!

I haven't told you much about my upcoming play - The Story of Saving Grimridge. It's starring me and a few of my friends. I starred in the play 'Pirates of Fairytale Island' last summer and I'm doing somewhat of the same program this year too. Well, I love this play, but am a little annoyed with my cast mates. Gosh, how many people quit - let's see - like six. THREE WEEKS BEFORE THE SHOW! It's gotten very old and annoying. Come on people, if you really don't want to do the show than don't sign up in the first place!

In other news, I did a bottle drive for the play this past weekend and let me say - PEOPLE ARE RUDE! I ended up going on Saturday the 9th and a few people from the show showed up. Dominic, Meghann, Allison, Riley, Kennedy, some person Allison knew, and I. Alyssa's mom and Andrea drove the cars so we could load them up with bottles. We split into two groups - Allie, Riley, Kennedy, and the person Allie knew and Me, Dominic, and Meghann. Then eventually three groups - Allie and her friend, Riley and Kennedy, and Dominic, Meghann, and I. We all walked down the streets near Henry Ruff and politely asked people if they had bottles or cans they would be kind enough to donate them to help us raise money for our theater group. We had to say something like this "Hi, we're from Shining Stars Theater and wanted to know if you had any bottles or cans to donate to help us raise money for our theater program this summer at Henry Ruff." Most of the time we got a "I just returned all of mine yesterday" or "I JUST got back from returning mine sorry," Or we got one of two at a time. YIKES!

At one point we got to this abandoned looking house that was really creepy looking. There was a car in the driveway and I was in a good mood so I was like "Hey, look this person goes to Planet Fitness and drinks Monster! They must have lots of cans!" We rotated talking and knocking so I knocked this time and it was Dominic's turn to talk. As I knocked, I was scared that a GIANT dog came looking out the window barking and annoying us so much we were pretty freaked out. We usually stood there for about twenty seconds to see if they would answer and after that we walked away. Meghann was so scared off by the dog that she stood near the walkway and I stayed on one of the steps and Dominic was still on the porch. After twenty seconds of the crazy dog barking I was like 'Okay, we can leave now,' so I turned around just to have a scary looking lady smoking a cigarette came out and screamed at Dominic (and the Meghann and I, but mostly Dominic since he was the one standing on the porch innocently) "WE DON'T DO BOTTLE DRIVES AND WE DON'T DO CHARITY!" She paused, went back inside, and then came out with garbage and yelled, "AND NEVER COME BACK TO THIS EVER AGAIN!"

Terrified, we all walked away and Andrea backed up the car and was like, "Are you guys okay?" So we (quietly, she was still outside) explained what had happened. Everyone was asking us questions (Riley, Kennedy, Allie, and Allie's friend) and we told the story again and again. It was so scary so the rest of the bottle drive we were cautious for people like that. I mean the lady didn't even have a 'No Soliciting or No Solicitors' sign on her door! She just yelled at us! It was pretty scary. No more bottle drives for a while.

Check back soon!

Fireworks

We all know that the holiday weekends should be full of fun, fireworks, and celebration. Let me tell you about mine. Friday really didn't (or shouldn't) count because it was you know, not exactly part of the weekend. Anyway, Saturday.....

Saturday was kind of upsetting because my dad and I went to go to visit my great-grandmother in the hospital because she is very sick. We stayed there for about two hours and then my dad and I went to my grandparents house to pick up a tent and then my dad stopped at KMART to get me the CD I wanted because I went with him to the hospital.

At KMART we also got my brothers little toys and then headed home. Unexpectedly, we were almost parked at a stop sign when a red vehicle came coming down the rode oddly and (CRASH) it jammed right into ours. It was probably the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. It was so scary. When she crashed my dad screamed and we were pushed back in the car a little bit. It was seriously terrifying. I think I cried more that day than I've cried ever. I thought we were going to die. Thank goodness, we didn't.
With that trying to be pushed aside, my dad and I tried to make the rest of the day much better, but it just got worse. A severe thunderstorm hit and it was awful. It was also scary. Saturday had to be the worst day ever.

Yesterday (Sunday) was the day we had our 4th of July celebration. My grandma's birthday is today so we celebrated it yesterday. It was lots of fun, we had a campfire and did fireworks and sparklers and we went swimming. It was so much better than Saturday. I'm hoping today is better too, but we still didn't get a rental car.

Happy 4th of July,
Emily :)

Blast from the Past

Hey look, I'm back for the second time this week, but get used to seeing me during the summer because I like to blog and with Harry Potter coming out and my play and vacations there is going to be some things worth blogging about. :)

So anyway, this morning I was so bored and decided to snoop through some of the old emails I had. I have them back since 2006 when I was only seven years old and I was a little bit annoying. I asked people to email me in my emails a lot and demanded chatting. Sorry those of you who had to witness my demanded of the chat.

As I went back I also realized that I attached a lot of pictures in my emails too. To the right is a picture of me and my aunt Sarah at her, I think twenty-sixth birthday. Or twenty-fifth I'm not sure. I found plenty of pictures and saved them to my computer. Mostly so I can most them to my blog of course.

I didn't get through all emails, of course. I kind of bribed people through my emails saying things like, 'If you email me, I'll tell you about school.' I did this a lot I saw. Also I said stuff like 'email me!' and every time someone emailed me back, I didn't know how to reply, I made a new email, so everything is out of order.

In other news, I joined a new theater group and everyone reading this is either in the play or most likely coming to see it so yay!

Can't wait for Harry Potter, it's going to be sad for it ending, but that's okay. I'm probably going to cry when bad things (not saying) are going to happen.

I'll be back on The Fourth of July to tell you how my holiday weekend went. Check back soon!

Thank you for reading comment please,
 Emily :)

Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

Who could possibly be afraid of the big bad wolf when she's a twelve year old girl wearing a fancy prom dress and a petticoat that looks more like the southern belle of the ball?

No one.

That was the point when I was cast as the 'Big Bad Wolf' in the Inspire Theater Play, "The Wolf Chronicles". We started off working on the play in February 2011, and later put it on a few weeks ago.

We weren't really into auditioning for parts this time around, for we only wanted to really act already! We had one newcomer, Reid, but he fit in great since his brother played Linus last year in 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'. Nobody else was really into the lead 'B. B. Wolf.', but I was. For some reason I thought it would be fun for a little girl to play the biggest, baddest, wolf in town. Who really, wasn't.

I was so excited when the director said that I was going to play the lead. I took it into, I'm a little twelve year old girl who is trying to pull off this big bad wolf. The wolf's name was originally supposed to be Buford, but I was reluctant and they changed it to Beatrice Bonquiah. (See, B.B.?)

Anyway, with our AMAZING cast we had a court room case where I was proved innocent, and got to wear the PRETTIEST dress ever. I was so amazed with how well the show went. THANKS!

If you have a chance, check out a play by Inspire Theater sometime or join because it is some of the most fun...ever!

Thanks,
Emily :)

Goodbye, Elementary School.

So I wrote this little tid-bit about elementary school. Here it is: (PLEASE COMMENT):

Elementary School.

It’s what’s like the prologue to your whole life. What happened before. A sneak peak of what you are growing up to be. Because to be honest, no one can really and truly, see the future.

It’s also like a dream. Life gets harder and this is just the easy part. It’s like a welcome to the world. A greeting. Or maybe the first level of a video game. Even the first sprout of a flower seed. It’s just a part of life.

It’s a way to get to know yourself. A way to see if you’re a hard worker, a rebel slacker, or a straight-A goody-two-shoes.

But that’s not all. It’s like the key to the rest of your life. You can open any door you would like to choose, but once you choose the door is closed behind you and only you can go back and change the door and path if you’re lucky. You need to choose the right door. You’re door.

Elementary school is where you can go care free sometimes. You can go back and relax if you make a mistake and try again. Second chances. In real life, that’s not always the case. Don’t take this for granted.

Enjoy elementary school life. Because it’s the only elementary school you’ll get. Pretty soon you’ll be a boring adult all alone in the adult world, where of course you’ll have new exciting adventures.

Next year I’ll be in middle school. Part of me is super-duper excited, the other half would like to step back, take a breath, and stay in the elementary school dream forever.

I’ll make the right choices. Stay on the right track and make the best friends. I’ll prepare myself for high school and beyond! I’ll dream, I’ll wish, I’ll sing songs about it.

I will make the two years of middle school two of the best years of my life.

I will try to go makeup-free, drama-free, and boy-drama-free if at all possible. I have these things to go through in high school. Oh boy. I won’t say some of that stuff won’t occur, though.

I will live my life the way I choose to live it. I will ignore bullies and other people who try and make me sad or put me down. I will live life for what’s worth living.

Middle School.

It’s the next chapter of MY life.

The Best Day

I'm five years old, it's getting cold
I've got my big coat on
I hear your laugh and look up smiling at you
I run, and run
Past the pumpkin patch and the tractor rides
Look Now!
the sky is gold
I hug your legs and fall asleep,
on the way home

I don't why all the trees change in the fall-a-all
I know that your not scared of anything at all
Don't know if Snow White's house is near or far away
But I know I had the Best Day, with you, today

I'm thirteen now and don't know how my friends, could be so mean
I come home crying and you hold me tight and grab the keys
and we drive and drive until we've found a town far enough away
and we talk and window shop till I forgot
all their names

I don't know who, I'm gonna talk to now at school-o-ool
I know I'm laughing on the car ride home with you-u
Don't know how long it's gonna take to feel okay
But I know I had the best day, with you, today

I have an excellent father
His strength is making me stronger
God smiles on my little Brother
Inside and out he's better than I am

I grew up in a little house where I had space to run,
and I
had,
The best days with you

There is a video I found from back when,
I was three
You set up a paint set in the kitchen and you're
Talking to Me
It's the age of princesses and pirate ships and the seven dwarfs

And Daddy's smart
and you're the prettiest lady in,
The whole wide world

Now I know why
All the trees change in the fall-a-all
I know you were on my side
Even when I was wrong-a-ong

And I love you,
For giving me your eyes
Staying back and watching me shine
and I didn't know if you knew,
so I'm taking this chance to say,
That I had the Best Day, with you, today

Aren't I exciting?

I know it's been like three weeks since I've blogged, but who says I can't? Want me to catch you up on my life? Or what I've been doing. Here we go!

  • I just recently finished Easter Break and let me say that that week goes by fast. Easter was lots of great fun though so I can't argue with that.
  • I'm trying desperately to finish Fablehaven Book One. It has been WAY to hard. Just the fact that I'm more than halfway done and feel like the book is getting thicker the more I read.
  • My class is reading the Avi book, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, which I recently made clear that if there was a movie about it I would play her. Not because I'm like her I can just see myself playing her. By the way- one of the best books ever!
  • Rio was a fantastic movie! I loved it and thought it was very humorous and goofy like any good animated children movie.
  • Doing homework.
  • Watching nonsense television. I. hate. it.
  • Making these lists that mean nothing to people.
  • Thinking of something to put on this list. Hmm.
  • OOH! Writing a super duper good book.
  • Listening to annoying music.
  • Hoping you'll read my blog.
  • Playing softball!
  • Please let me know you read this by commenting!
Thanks,
Emily :)

We take Time for our Author............

I am not a copy cat, but I will say that I loved the whole idea of my Aunt making a list of things that people honestly don't need to know about her, but she would like to put out there. Today I am doing the same. I think I might go over her only 20 facts because well, there is a lot not to know about me.

1.) I hate every single fruit besides bananas because I'm weird like that. I also will only eat vanilla flavored yogurt. Tee hee.

2.) I watch Hannah Montana to make fun of it.

3.) I play yellow car in the car with my mom and Dad. When I went on the sixth grade field trip we were constantly playing the new and improved version that we came up with. We even played during the boring tour with India, Megan, and the whole rest of the bus.

4.) I pick my nails. My toenails, my fingernails, everything.

5.) I crack my knuckles.

6.) I can't watch movies where little girls die (or the celebrity who played them did in fact die) aka I'm trying to get at Savannah Smiles.

7.) The Color red annoys me.

8.) I am funny and rambunctious at home, but at school I am stiff as a rock.

9.) It's hard to make me laugh.

10.) I hate being left out. (but school wise, mostly am :()

11.) Love musicals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12.) Pop makes me have to use the restroom more and more.

13.) I love tertris.............:)

14.) I hate being alone! :(

15.) I have to have ocean noises on when I go to bed or else I feel like someone is breaking into the house. Oh no!

16.) I am recently obsessed with finding out people's last names and seeing if they are a-o or p-z. I also like when people have last names that are below mine, so that I don't feel like they are higher than me on the attendance sheet. Proctor is normally at the bottom. (In my class I'm number 19)

17.) From last year on I have been crazy about dressing up as little Disney stars for Halloween. Last year I was Alice, this year I plan on being Tinkerbell.

18.) Curious George makes me cry, a lot.

19.) As you can tell I hate little children movies because they make me cry.

20.) I can't watch Toy Story 3.

21.) I dream of being a teacher.

22.) I love acting..........

23.) Pizza Bread makes me happy. Even though it makes me full.

24.) I LOVE THE COLOR GREEN!

25.) In my mind I feel like everyone should mark their calenders that March 23rd is the best day of the year, no, not because Elizabeth Taylor died on my birthday.

Thanks,
Emily :)

Why Wicked is Better (and worse, but not really)

Welcome back to my blog. I probably DON'T need to say that at the beginning of every single blog post, but I don't really care.

The purpose of this blog post is to discuss my experience this past Wednesday on the sixth grade field trip. We had a tour of Detroit, (don't worry, we were on a bus) we went to the Hard Rock Cafe, and we went to the Fisher Theater to see Les Miserables.

The tour = Kind of Boring. 1 being the worst and 10 being the best I say the tour was a 4. There were large gaps between which the dude was speaking to us and we all had our own side conversations. I thought that the guy was kind of just talking about himself more than about Detroit. He kept saying how he went to Wayne State. And it wasn't just a random statement, he said it every five minutes. "Oh yeah, I went to Wayne State." or "I just finished at Wayne State." and "Wayne State is a very good college", which he didn't even have proof that was true. Am I right?

Hard Rock Cafe = Good, but bad. The food was alright. I got chicken tenders and fries. I ate the fries mostly. I liked the chicken a little, but it wasn't fabulous. I give Hard Rock an eight. It was fun, though. We had a great time there.

Les Miserables = Great! (to some of us) I give it a seven, because it was VERY hard to follow. Also, everyone was upset because of one (or two) inappropriate parts. I didn't actually mind, seeing as I can take these things. I won't get into detail, but some people are immature about things that REALLY happen. I liked it, though. Wicked was way better. It's actually coming back this December and I REALLY want to go see it REALLY! I saw it once, I would do ANYTHING to go see it again.

Mature and can handle Les Mis,
Emily :)

"Getting Down on Friday"

Hey! I kind of (just a little bit) redesigned my blog........if you guys even read my blog anymore sometimes I feel like I'm blogging to no one. No offense to those of you who read my blog, but decide that you just won't comment. A hem. I comment on Sarah's blog, but nobody does on mine. How about this, if I promise to blog more often will you comment? Okay, good.

What I wanted to discuss was Rebecca Black and her 'claim to fame' or however people get famous put it. Being compared to some people just isn't too good, Ms. Black. Rebecca released her single, 'Friday' just less that two weeks ago and was already accepted record deals and celebrities covering her hideous song to make it look a little less hideous. Just to be honest-no matter who covers it, 'Friday' will never be a good song. And I'm taking if Katy Perry or Rhinanna covered 'Friday'. Heck, Taylor Swift. It will NEVER be good. Just never.

The fourteen year old is probably loving up the fame, or hating it. Now note, she did not write the disastrous song, some cheat song writers did. Her mom did pay like 2 grand for it though. Not something to be proud of.

Anyway, the song roams around an eighth grade girl waking up on a Friday morning and having to go to school and deciding everything she is going to do that weekend. She even has a tough decision weather or not she should sit with her friends in the front seat, or the back seat. Oh no! What choice?

Oh wait.....................WHO CARES!!!!?????????!!!!!

My favorite has to be the third verse, which is the most helpful. I didn't know that yesterday was Thursday, tomorrow is Saturday, afterward comes Sunday. And most certainly I wanted a girl with a flat voice to sing it in a sketch pad social calender for me. You know, that's the best.

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

So you know, if you happen to be on the computer look the song up on itunes and you might come across the next big thing. Or not. Because to be truthful no one could care less about what Rebecca Black says or does.

By the way, I wonder when 'Monday' will come out.
Thanks for reading,
Emily :)

Survivor: Redemption Island: Best Ever?

Hello! Most of you know that my favorite show (ever) is Survivor! Well, Survivor 22 Redemption Island premiered on February 16th and I was just so excited! It was probably the best start of the season ever! I love Survivor and sometimes it's great to have really stupid people...............................

Only two episodes have premiered so far...........the first and second and to be clear, if you haven't watched Survivor yet and you watch it I consider NOT reading this because it has some spoilers coming along here:

Phillip is an idiot that makes everyone laugh............he's so stupid that it's funny. Kristina annoys me too, just because she is so frustrating to everyone else. Plus she was all annoying because she found an idol on the first day.

The whole
Redemption Island thing was kind of shaky on me at first. I mean I always get excited when someone I don't like gets voted out. Now they might come back, but I guess it's good to try something new. They probably just ran out of ideas and need something. Now I think it might be okay just not perfect since it hasn't started yet. (The redemption part)

Out of Matt and Francesca (not to be confused with Phillip's way of saying it "Fransequea") I think that both of them have a shot. Personally, I think that Francesca would be nicer to come back, but either way anything could happen.
Like I said, I wasn't thrilled about the twist, but this was such a great start. Want me to tell why? Don't answer that..................................

Phillip practically put his foot in his mouth by spilling the beans about everything within his alliance with Francesca and Kristina in the first episode. He told everyone about Kristina's idol and about wanting to vote out Rob. It was a mess and was so funny too!

You should have seen it.........trust me throughout the next few months blogging about my favorite show. Not all the time though.

Thanks for reading,
Emily :)

Reading makes you Smarter

Hey Guys! Look at me! I am blogging two weeks in a row, how quirky is that? I almost never blog that frequent. By the way-please comment on my post, I only do my blog for you readers and if you don't comment how will I know you've read my blog? Oh wait-I won't!

So you may wonder why the title of this blog entry is 'Reading Makes You Smarter'. Well, it's just a fact and facts make very good blog titles believe it or not. I would like to clarify that Reading defiantly does make the brain smarter. You'll see why in a second.

The next part of this blog is where I'm going to tell you about how many great books I have read in my life. I have read the best series ever which is by the way called The mother daughter book club. Some people think it's lame, but I for one think it's amazing! The books are written well with good detail and the characters are so developed and great!

I would also like to point out that I have to write a story in school about a kingdom I make up. Well, I've come up with a kingdom named 'Writes' and yeah, it's pretty cool. It has to have laws, a coat or arms, a map, and etc. We also have to write a story to go with it. I plan on making a short one for class, and a long one for home and life. It's about a girl named Amari and she is in this world of Writes and everyday there is the setting of the best selling book of the day. But one day the whole thing gets out of hand and the evil person named Antella, takes control of the world and eventually Amari has to fix it. I think that it will be really cool because I plan on having a 'Tower 'O Books' and a 'Writing Station' in it. I think that's really awesome. Do you think so?

Tell me what you think!

Thanks,
Emily :)
